Dominator Basketball Court Light Pole, Full Assembly

Material

The Dominator square aluminum light pole is made of 6061 T6 aluminum, the same material used in the watercraft, aircraft and automotive industries. Each pole has 4-inch wide sides with a wall thickness of 0.187 inches.

Top tenon dimensions

Poles are provided with a slip-fitting aluminum top tenon, 2 3/8″ outside diameter and 4 inches in length. Please confirm the tenon size required by your project prior to ordering.

Anchor / mounting bolts

Includes four (4) J-shaped, fully galvanized anchor bolts and galvanized hardware consisting of three (3) hex nuts, one (1) lock washer and two (2) flat washers, plus one (1) steel anchor bolt template.

Base

A welded base hinge is incorporated into the post, making it easy to raise and lower the pole. Combined with the light weight of aluminum, this makes installation and assembly straightforward.

Handhole

A handhole is located 36 inches above ground, with a cover and two (2) stainless steel bolts included. We recommend fitting a switch and cover here to make it easy to turn your lights on and off.

Shipping: This light pole ships by freight with curbside delivery. Liftgate service is included. Freight is $350 per pallet, and one pallet carries up to four poles.

Ordering more than one pole? Up to four poles ship on a single pallet for one $350 freight charge, so a two or three pole court costs the same to ship as one. Five to eight poles take a second pallet. This is calculated automatically at checkout, and there is no separate invoice to wait for.

What to expect on delivery

• Delivery is curbside. The driver removes the order from the truck and leaves it at your curb or in your driveway. Set up and assembly are not included.
• A signature is required. The carrier will call you to arrange a delivery window, usually between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
• Inspect everything before you sign. If anything is damaged, write it on the delivery receipt. The carrier is responsible for damage in transit, and signing a clean receipt releases them from it. Do not refuse the delivery. Note the damage, keep the shipment, and contact us for a replacement part.
• If a delivery truck cannot get down your road or driveway, delivery cannot be completed and you may need to collect the order from the nearest carrier terminal. Undeliverable and returned orders are subject to a restocking fee plus the original freight cost.
